As a traditional country pub the menu caters for all tastes and occasions, ranging from simple ciabatta sandwiches and classic pub dishes to more complex flavours enough to tempt any foodie out of the city.

Our chefs prepare and cook fresh food on the premises using quality ingredients, which are local where possible - with fish delivered daily from Brixham, beef and lamb from local Gloucestershire farms, venison from two local estates, cream and free range, new laid eggs from the village.

Seasonal speciality dishes in include: steak and kidney pudding, cassoulet, hand crafted Oldbury tarts, and faggots. Our menu changes weekly so whether you want a quick snack, a mid-week lunch or a superb evening meal out you can’t go wrong when you choose the Anchor Inn.
